Trip 1, Day 15, Leg 17

Trip Day-Tuesday, August 10th

0306-Woke up and can't go back to sleep! 73F/71F.  Hottest night yet! I will take my time getting ready.

0615-T-storm over head.  Passed quickly, but heavy rain for a short time.  Breakfast is finished. I just need to wash dishes before I go.

0648-Dishes done and everything is all cleaned up and ready. I will head in earlier than orginally planned.

Working alone it takes a couple of hours to load the boat and kayak, and secure all the loose items for road travel.  The trip back to the cities is about 270 miles and takes about six hours with stops for gas and lunch. 

Overall the trip was a successful test of systems and revealed many items that need alteration, redesign, or fixing for the next foray into the lake country. Stay tuned!
